The bag that started it all. We made these in just one size (check thumbnails for sizing details). As we used them more and learned more about materials, we began to add features and tweak the construction to expand functionality and extend the lifetime of the bags. This model is a celebration of our roots, with all of the little improvements that we've discovered in the past two decades. Simple, utilitarian, and instantly a classic of its own, this is a bag that showcases a reproduction of our first real logo patch from 1998.
We've updated the heavy duck canvas to a lighter and more abrasion resistant 1000D Cordura exterior, and added an extra layer to the base for protection against scuffs and scrapes. We kept our original main strap, which is thick, heavyweight diver's belt nylon. Threaded through a nickel plated buckle, it adjusts from the hip, and offers a superb level of versatility once broken in. While it may not be the most intuitive strap in our lineup, for those that have used similar systems in the past (either old R.E.Load bags, or maybe even a Zo or DiMartini bag), it's a favorite. And we’ll set it up for use on either your left or right shoulder, whichever you prefer.
