The bags that started it all. Back in 1998, Roland and Ellie created the
“Courier”, at the time our only model, and what is now known as the XL
Messenger. As our customer base grew, it became apparent we would need
to reimagine the original sling bag in a number of smaller sizes. In the
decades that have passed, we’ve fine-tuned our Messengers to fit
better, last longer, and be even more versatile than ever before.
Heavyweight 2” wide velcro keeps the main flap closed, while lengthy
straps emerge from the base of the bag should you require extra security
via quick release buckles. Not using the straps? They can be clipped
out of the way, underneath the lip of the bag. A removable, quick
release waist strap doubles as an adjustable sternum/ anti-sway strap
when worn across the body.
This Messenger calls back to our
origins with our classic heavy-duty strap and no frills simplicity.
Inside the bag you'll find our big, open tri-pockets for organizing your
gear. ALL R.E.Load bags are proudly made in Philadelphia, and carry our
