* Standard custom bags generally have a 2-4 week turnaround. while bags with graphics have a 4-6 week turnaround. This is, of course, dependent on our current workload. If you are trying to get a bag made and it is time-sensitive, please call (215-625-2987) or email first to make sure we can get it done in time!

 

Creating a dedicated "Build Your Bag" section is something that's been on the table for years....while we are closer than we've ever been, the sheer complexity of the project has proven somewhat overwhelming. Believe us, we're working on it....but for now, we cannot yet offer customers the ability to actually "see" the bag they are about to purchase. However, we have upgraded our site to allow for our customers to "create" and pay for all bags that do not feature graphics. Simply go to our Store section and choose "Build Your Own". In other words, click here.

 

If you are trying to order a bag with graphics on it, the situation is a bit different. The graphic will need to be quoted, which cannot be done on our website. You'll essentially need to go through the following - taking notes of your choices along the way - and email us with the choices you've made. *Note that if you have a graphic you would like to submit as part of the quote request, you'll need to include that in the email, preferably in JPG format. 1. Choose your model/size:

a.  choose one of our stock sizes

 

2. Choose an outside color:

a. Our basic Cordura® color palette is represented as color swatches on the order page for the bag model you have selected. We have taken our absolute best shot at coding the swatches so that they are close as possible to the actual colors. However, please understand that due to factors beyond our control (ie. your monitor settings, your browser, slight differences from batch to batch of the same color on the suppliers' end, etc.) the colors you see on your screen may not be entirely accurate. this is especially tru for the neons, which are basically impossible to make an RGB code for. So, if you need to see absolutely positively exactly what the color is, feel free to send us a S.A.S.E and we'll send you back small swatces of any colors you like!

b. For the Midpack and Minipack you may request different colors for the front and outside pocket at no additional charge. 

c. If you would like the flap of the bag to be one color, and the body of the bag to be another color, it is an extra $10.

d. If you would like multiple colors on the bag itself, and your design is easily communicated textually (ie. "Three-inch wide light white vertical    stripe offset to the left"), just write what you would like us to do. If the design is more complicated, send us a picture via email (pdf, jpg or    gif). It can be a drawing, photo or scanned image.

 

3. Choose your liner color:

a. black or light gray

 

4. Choose your velcro color.

a. Our loop velcro come in red, orange, black, yellow, brown, baby blue, royal blue, gray, navy blue (slightly lighter than midnight), green (kelly), white

 

5. Choose your trim color.

a.Trim is the material that covers the outer edge of the flap. Our trim is available in red, dark purple, orange, black, gold, royal blue, dark gray, neon pink, baby blue, rust, tan, burgundy, light pink, neon green

 

6. Choose your Cordura® base layer color.

a. Available colors include all of our cordura colors previously listed. *If you are getting a Deluxe Courier, Midpack, or Minipack, you by default get an upgrade to Ballistic Nylon, which is available in either black or dark gray ONLY. However, if you really want a color instead, you can opt for regular Cordura.

 

7. Choose the shoulder you would like the bag to rest on.

a. For about 90% of the population, this will be the left shoulder - the adjustment buckle for the main strap will be resting on your right hip. If you are opposite, choose the right shoulder. If none is indicated, we will make the bag for the left shoulder by default.

 

8. Choose your thread color.

a. Thread is available in black, white, orange, red, baby blue, tan, green, and royal

 

** If you would like to select some add-on features, please continue. The following is a list of features that are available for most of our bag models. Please note that the Dash and Sprint models can only be modified in terms of color(s) and shoulder. They cannot have any of the add-ons listed below added to them. Additionally, the Midpack, Minipack, and Softpack models can only have reflective tails added.

 

 

1. Outside pockets:

You may choose either double outside pockets (+$30) or a single outside pocket (+$25), NOT BOTH. Specify a Cordura® color for the pocket(s), otherwise we will make them the outside color of your bag by default.

 

2. Ballistic nylon base:

Ballistic nylon is the toughest material option and is available in black or dark gray. (+$5)

 

3. Base Compression Straps: 

Reduces the depth of the base for smaller loads. By far most useful for the Courier model. Only necessary on other models for holding jackets, tripod, etc. (+$12)

 

4. Internal Divider:

Our flexible divider - which is attached to the bottom rear of the bag and sewn into the side seams - is perfect for separating large items from each other. It can be pushed to the back of the bag, so unlike other types of dividers, it won't keep you from utilizing the full volume of your bag when you need to. (+$15)

 

5. Handle:

We stick by our previous beliefs...nobody should need an explanation for a handle. (+$15)

 

6. Padded Main Strap:

 

If you are choosing one of our single strap models, you can choose either our regular old-school messenger pad to work with the default strap/metal buckle (+$16), or you can choose our new split-strap option with easy adjustment and removal right at the chest (+$25).

 

7. Reflective tails: 

Two clip-on 1" wide strips of highly reflective plastic for night missions. Available in neon green or white.(+$6)

 

8. FBI Pocket:

This "Flat Back Inside" pocket runs from seam to seam on the back wall of the bag. Height is a few inches less than that of the bag itself. Velcro closure with a pull tab. (+$15)

 

 There are a number of ways to communicate a custom design to us:

 

1. If it is something simple enough to be conveyed with words alone (ie. "three baby blue stars evenly spaced across the flap"), then you can just describe the design.

 

2. For more complex designs, we ask that you send us an email with an attachment in JPG FORMAT. Please keep in mind that we need to charge for all the work we do - this includes touching up and re-sizing your artwork. So the best way to send art is in exact size. Again, please check the FAQ's if you need direction.
